Aaron Stanley Hagans, age 33 from Waterbury, CT transitioned into eternal rest Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at his residence.

Aaron Stanley Hagans was born in New Haven, Connecticut on May 30, 1987 to the parents of Cheryl Dianne Lucas-Smith and Joseph Stanley Hagans. Aaron, better known to his family as “Ronnie”, was a loving, quiet young man with a passion for life.

 After his schooling, Ronnie became a dedicated, hard worker who held many jobs throughout his adulthood.  Ronnie was not the first one to speak up, and would normally stand behind the crowd, but one thing for sure, you knew he was there. His smile was contagious, along with his generous heart, and love for his family. But there was no greater joy in his life when he gave his life to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sadly, on October 27, 2020, Ronnie was called home to be with the Lord, leaving a great impact on his family and those around him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents. His daughter Arion Hagans, who was his life and meant the world to him. His daughter in love, Charleigh Jones and his longtime supporter, Rakiya Franklin from Connecticut.

His maternal grandmother, Genevieve Lucas(Grammy) from North Carolina. His sisters, Tamera Stewart (Lewis) from North Carolina, Latia Smith from North Carolina. His sisters from Connecticut, Joelle Hagans, Danielle Moore and Tanya Hagans. His only brother, Jovar Hagans from Connecticut. His cousin David Lucas and uncle Richard Lucas from Connecticut, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Theodore Roosevelt Lucas, or as the family called him, the one and only Poppy. Ronnie may no longer be with us here on earth, but we thank God that one day we will see him again. We love you Ronnie.
