Wilburn Brown, Jr.

Mr. Wilburn Brown, Jr. age 57 of 5639 Old Chapel Hill Rd., Apt. 1101 Durham, NC passed on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Parkview Rehab Center, Chapel Hill, NC.

Wilburn Brown Jr. was the oldest son of the late Wilburn Brown Sr. and Bertha Brown, born on March 5, 1962. He transitioned from his earthly life to his heavenly home on September 1, 2019.

He grew up in Starksville, Mississippi and at an early age worked on a farm to help his family. In 1982, he moved to North Carolina and got a job at UNC for a number of years and then later began working at General Services Corporation. While working there he befriended and met Angel McMillan through his best friend. Years down the line, they fell in love and married on February 28, 2010.

“Will” had a passion for detailing cars and was an extremely humorous person, but most importantly he loved his family and his truck.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife, Angel Brown; three sons, JaMicheal Brown and Christopher Brown both of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Marcellus Brown of Portland, Oregon; four daughters, Tiffany Bell Bankhead and Shauntae Bell both of Starksville, Mississippi, Ashanti     McMillan and Sierra McMillan both of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; three sisters, Lizzy Brown of Greenwood, Mississippi and Tara Brown of Columbus, Ohio, Shirley Buchanan of Indianapolis, Indiana; two brothers, Eddie Brown (Andrea) and John Brown (Shay) all of Indianapolis, Indiana; mother-in-law, Gail McMillan and father-in-law, Christopher McMillan both of Mebane, North Carolina; six grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
