Wendy Renee Palmer

Ms. Wendy R. Palmer, age 50 of 802 Taylor Chapel Rd., Sanford, NC passed on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford NC.

Wendy Renee Palmer was born October 27, 1967 to Annie Ruth and the late Wendell Palmer in Orange County, NC.

Wendy attended Chatham County Public Schools class of 1985 and Carolina Community College class of 2004.  Among her educational pursuits, Wendy was an accomplished Cosmetologist, Certified Travel Representative (Miami, Fl.), Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Phlebotomist and Certified Pharmacy Technician.  She worked for "Living With Dignity" as a dedicated CNA.

Wendy was a person who showed love and compassion for everyone, especially her mother and kids.  She loved helping people. Her favorite thing to do was take care of others and enjoyed listening to "Lil Wayne" music.  Everyone that knew Wendy knew of her fun spirit, loving smile and heart of gold...and she never forgot her lipstick.

Wendy is preceded in death by her father, Wendell Palmer.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her mother, Annie R. McKenzie (Carver); a son, Cordaro Palmer and daughter. Taylor Stepney of Sanford, NC; a Godson Josiah Moore of Pittsboro, NC; two sisters, Natalie Horton and Tracy Alston of Pittsboro, NC; one brother, Anthony Palmer; three beloved aunts, Betty Alston, Peggy Leathers (Oris) and Judy Robinson; two loving uncles Excel Robinson and Jimmy Robinson; two nieces, one nephews, cousins (Especially Shun); special friends, Mia Lawrence and Van Stepney; and so many other relatives and friends.
