Varn Lee Hunter

Varn Lee Hunter, age 59 of 301 N. Sixth St., Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pineshurt, NC.

Varn Lee Hunter was born December 6, 1960 to the late Louise Hunter and James Hunter of Sanford, NC. He was called home January 16, 2020 into eternal rest.

Varn attended and graduated from Lee Senior High School. He also went to school for Automotive and worked at Carnes for many years. He worked at Auto Zone before his health began to decline. Varn was truly a “Jack of ALL trades”. He loved to cook, especially on the grill.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Kersey, Edward Judd and Bobby Kersey.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories: three children, Anson Foxx, Candace “Nikki”  Foxx and Varn “Cuda” Foxx (Ashley); six grandchildren, Xavier McLean, Kyree Goldston, Ahliyah Foxx, Jabarie Snipes, ShunTez Snipes, and Zariah Foxx; one sister, Margaret Hunter; four brothers, Ricky Hunter, Reddell Kersey, James Reid and James Fox; a special friend, Pamela Yarborough and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Varn was loved by many and missed by all.
