Tony Robert Seymore, age 60 of Sanford NC, departed his life and entered Eternal rest on March 9, 2019 in Chapel Hill NC at UNC Hospital. Tony Robert Seymore was born on December 21, 1958 to Bertha E. Seymore and the late Robert A. Seymore at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.
He received his education in the Chatham County School system.
His work history included Davison Jones Construction, Moncure Plywood Plant, R&R Landscaping, and Keller Group.
He enjoyed working outside. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. They were his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Seymore; grandparents: Manley Seymore, Bettie Seymore, Clara Wilson, Willie Wilson, Henry Toomer, and Nelzie Toomer; great great nephew, De’Andre Cotton; five uncles and four aunts.
Tony leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Delaine Seymore; two daughters, Tiffany Seymore and Tekosha Rollins (Kevin) of Sanford, NC; two sons: Tony Harrington of Sanford, NC and Anthony Seymore of Siler City, NC; granddaughters: De’Niriah, Diamond, KeArri, Kali, Leya-Lynn and Malayla-Lynn; two grandsons: Saquan and Kevin Jr; mother, Bertha E. Seymore; four sisters: Brenda Cotton, Linda Clegg (Bobby) Sanford, NC, Savonne Green (Anthony) Pittsboro, NC and Phyllis Seymore of Moncure, NC; aunts: Nellie Trapp and Willis Thomas of Moncure, NC, Doris Harris of Sanford, NC, Brenda Swann (Joe), and Cora Toomer of New Hill NC; great aunt, Nora Smith of Moncure, NC; uncles: Johnny Wilson, Leander Seymour (Ruby), James Seymour (Mary) of Moncure, NC, Paul Seymore (Mae Ruth) of Pittsboro, NC, John H. Toomer (Gretna) of Orange N.J, William Cameron and Theodore Toomer (Janice) of Sanford, NC; one sister-n-law, MaryAnn Harrington of Sanford, NC; three brothers-n-law, Duke Crump, Tony Crump of Holly Springs NC and Curtis Crump of Fuquay Varina NC; his special friends included: April Winstead, Rowland Cotton, and Fred Hooker and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
