Tonia Annette Vinston, age 53 of 7453 Sheriff Watson Rd., Sanford, NC passed on Monday, May 13, 2019 at her residence.
Tonia Annette Vinston Moore was born on March 30, 1966 to Otis Vinston and the late Shirley Harris at Good Hope Hospital in Dunn, NC. When a cure was not to be, God allowed her to spend one more Mother’s Day with her children and grandchildren, then gently spoke her name on May 13, 2019 as she slept in her bed.
Tonia was preceded in death by her mother. Tonia married John Moore on August 8, 1987 and to this union four children were born.
Tonia was educated at Western Harnett and Harnett Central High Schools. She was employed by Frontier Spinning in Sanford until her health prevented her from working. At an early age Tonia attended Andrews Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Bunlevel, NC.
Tonia was a blessing to everyone and she loved her children and family much more than she loved herself. Family was important to her and she always put her family first. She took care of her children, siblings, nieces, and nephews. She was a great cook, friend, and worked hard to support her family.
