Timothy Lee Wright

Mr. Timothy Lee Wright “Timmy” was born November 23, 1969, in Queens NY. Timmy departed this life on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

At a young age “Timmy” accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He attended Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Queens, NY. “Timmy” spent most of his years in Queens where he worked as a private duty aide. He was very involved in his church and his community. He retired and moved to Fayetteville, NC. “Timmy” never married or had children. He was kind, loving, generous and through the years he accumulated several godsons and goddaughters.  Recently, he “adopted” Shawnda Shaw as his daughter and her children Tyzir, Tyasia and Zuri were his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Wright and sister, Christina Wright.

His beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of his sister, Barbara Jerome (Erick), brothers, Douglas Wright (Angela), Christopher Wright, Johnny Wright, Anthony Wright, and Sylvester Wright; nephews, Jonathan, Naquan, Jayquan, Trevon and Khalil and nieces, Latoya, Tiffany and Ashley Wright and a host of cousins and close friends.
