Thomas Junior Graham

Thomas Junior Graham, age 78 of 46 Dove Rd., Cameron, NC passed on Monday, September 3, 2018 at Sanford Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Thomas Junior Graham, the beloved son of the late Ralph and Ada Jane Cameron Graham, was born on February 4, 1940 in Harnett County.

Thomas, a husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, grandfather and a friend to many, sadly succumbed into eternal rest at the Sanford Health and Rehabilitation Center, Sanford, North Carolina on Monday, September 3, 2018.

He attended Harnett County Schools and graduated from Johnsonville High School in 1959.  Thomas completed Auto Mechanic Training at Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, NC. He was employed by the Alfco Company, Bridgeport, Connecticut, later with the Roberts Company, Sanford, North Carolina and finally with Eagle Electric, also of Sanford, North Carolina.

Thomas joined Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church at a very early age and was baptized under the leadership of Reverend A. T. Tuck.  He was a faithful and dedicated member of the church.  He served as a member of the male choir, a trustee, and as the church treasurer until failing health.

Thomas was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Elliott Graham, one sister, Parthenia (Polly) Graham, and one brother, Nathaniel Graham.  

He leaves to treasure his memory, his wife of 38 years, Evelyn Taylor Graham, Cameron, NC; two sons, Thomas Graham, Jr., of Raleigh, NC, and Arnold  E. Graham, Upper Marlboro, MD; five daughters, Shirley Diane Holmes, Washington, DC; Cheryl L. Showell, Fredericksburg, VA; Renee Cooper, Stafford, VA; Victoria Graham (Roy, Sr.), Cambria, NY; and Tasha L. Graham, Cameron, NC;  two brothers, Jerry L. Graham, Cameron, NC and John L. Graham, Bridgeport, CT; one aunt, Parthenia C. Chalmers, Cameron, NC; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives, and friends.
