Mrs. Terrina Renee Edwards-Craig, age 59 of 730 Rosswood Road, Chapel Hill, NC passed on Friday, August 2, 2019 in Pittsboro,

Terrina Renee Edwards Craig, 59 was born on December 11, 1959 at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.  She left this earthly world on Friday, August 2, 2019 to be with her heavenly Father.

She was educated in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School System. She was a proud graduate of the Class of 1979.  She was employed with the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School system for twenty-eight (28) years, in the Transportation Department.  She was a faithful and  dedicated worker who enjoyed her job and work family.

Renee, as known by all, was very outgoing and enjoyed life to its   fullest. She loved fishing, having a good time, and enjoyed traveling. She never met a stranger and was always planning trips and other events with family and friends, new and old. Even in the midst of her illness, she maintained her witty attitude.  She was a friend to all and was willing to assist others when asked or called upon.  She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister and friend. Renee pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her transparent and witty behavior. Renee was the type of person that said what she meant and meant what she said.   

Renee was married to Timmie Craig on September 16, 1995. To this union two children were born, Joshua Antai and Timmie Darius. As  a result of their marriage, Timmie assumed the father role for his stepson, Marcus.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Margaret Edwards, and Herbert Eaves.                         

She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. She leaves to cherish her fondest memories, her beloved husband of twenty-three (23) years Timmie Craig; three loving children, Marcus Edwards, Joshua Edwards (Jameka), and Timmie Craig Jr. (Jennifer); two aunts, Betty Sue Williams and Rena Noel; two uncles, Michael Edwards and Charles Edwards; seven sisters; Benita Edwards (Ernest); Sandra Edwards (Reginald); Sonya Edwards; Lisa Poulson (Dario); Gloria Cole; Stephanie Cheek (Kenneth) and Venna Price (Terry); six brothers; Nick Pennix (Chanel), Lynn Pennix (Chris), Herbert Eaves, Jr., Kenneth Eaves, Efrem Eaves (Teresa) and Christopher Eaves (Renee); twelve grandchildren; special friends, Beverly Roberson, Linda Brown, Robin Small and Vivian Hall; special daughters, Emily Dodson and Cheresa Dumas and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
