Roger Dale Clark

Roger Dale Clark, age 63 of 956 Vernie Phillips Rd., Bear Creek, NC passed on Saturday, August 19, 2018 at his residence.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers please make donations to Knotts Funeral Home.

Mr. Clark was born to Clarence Clark and Virginia Burns Clark on March 19, 1955.  He was also raised by his step-father, Mr. Wallace Moore.  He passed on August 19, 2018 at his residence.

He attended Chatham County Schools for several years.  After school Roger was employed by Bruce Pilkington Trucking for several years and later Kester Ashworth Trucking until his health declined. 

He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping and fishing and spending time with his wife and children.  Later in life Roger accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Misty Lynn Clark and Kelly Jean Clark, his father, Clarence Clark, mother, and stepfather, Wallace and Virginia Moore, a sister, Debbie Nunnery, and a favorite nephew, Randy Clark.

He is survived by: a loving wife of 40 years, Frances "Ann" Clark, Bear Creek, NC, a son, Roger Clark, Jr "Steven", of the home, daughters, Barbara Berry, Siler City, NC and Susan Rene Dorsett, Sanford, NC; sisters and brothers, Clarissa Clark Mitchell (Jimmy), Coleridge, NC,  Mirian Virginia Moore Plarski (Marty), Staley, NC, Lisa Moore Ayers (Dale), Bennett, NC, Baxter Moore (Linda), Siler City, NC, Tomar Darlene Moore Horton (Bobby), Coleridge, NC, Laura Moore Hicks (Mitchell), Ramseur, NC and David Moore, Bonlee, NC; eight grandchildren, Jason Marsh, Ashley Walters, Nicholas Marsh, Mia Creason, Haley Clark, Morgan Clark, Maddison Wingerter, and Baleigh Dorsett; four great grandchildren, Lexi Lynn Pendergraph, Russell Blake Benton, Skylar Pendergraph, and Colton Pendergraph and a host of other relatives and friends.
