Regina Kathleen McLean

Regina Kathleen McLean, age 54 of 1457 Black Rd., Cameron, NC passed on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Moore Regional Hospital.

Regina Kathleen McLean was born on July 31, 1964 to  Theodora Brown (Laymond) and the late James Edward  Petty. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 29, 2019  at Moore Regional Hospital.

Regina graduated from Lee Senior High and Central Carolina Community College. She was employed at Sanford Health and Rehab.

Regina was a loving person with a big beautiful smile that would brighten up any room. She was the life of the party. She loved cooking; especially from scratch; listening to music and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward  Petty; two sisters, Monica Jackson and Muriell “Cheryl” McLean; one brother, Greg McLean; grandmother, Kathleen McLean and aunt, Evelynn McLean Reid.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Nicole “Nini” McLean (Anthony Upchurch), Katrina McLean (“Peanut”) and De’Angela “Dee” McLean (Lorenzo); her mother: Evangelist Theodora Brown (Laymond); seven grandchildren: Raekwon McLean, Georion McDougald,   PaJhea Barnes, Josiah McLean, Shamell Upchurch, Shannon Upchurch, and Royal’te Upchurch; four sisters: Tonya McLean, Dana Crutchfield, Casey Brown and Chanda Rice; five brothers: James “Kenny” McLean (Francine), Roger Quick, Jerry Dale Quick (Gail), Wayne McLean (Norma) and Todd Brown; nieces and nephews: Latorja McLean (Eziekel), Monica “Lynn” Jackson (Aaliyah), Melvin Jackson Jr. (Crystal), Tasha Quick Marsh (Jason), Jerry Chalmers (Trista), Takiya Bell, Monica McLean, Jaheim McLean, Deraye McLean, and Jabari McLean; special friend, Mike Wofford, other  relatives and friends.
