Raphael Emmett Simmons age 64, passed at Phillips Towers in Decatur, Ga. on October 21, 2019. Raphael was born on September 4,1955 in Chapel Hill NC. The son of the late Dr. and Mrs. J.S. Simmons Sr. Raphael was a proud graduate of Morehouse College Atlanta, Ga.

He is survived by siblings: James S. Simmons Jr. (Pamela) Stone Mountain Ga., George D. Simmons, Winston Salem NC. Erin Simmons Johnson (Farris) Athens Ga., Cheryl Simmons, Alexandria Va. and Barbara Simmons, Washington DC.
