Randy Cameron, age 48 of 506 Church St., Sanford, NC passed on Saturday, January 4, 2020.

Randy Cameron, son of Brenda Cameron and the late Benjamin "Buck Root" Ryant was born November 18, 1971 in Yonkers, New York.  He departed this life on Saturday, January 4, 2020.

He attended Lee Senior High School, graduating with the class of 1990.  Randy was a loving son, nephew, cousin and friend.  He enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends, watching movies and listening to music.  Randy had an old soul.  He listened to all genres of music ranging from jazz, hip-hop, neo-soul, R & B, country to gospel.  He was the life of the party.  Randy was the DJ at the family gatherings, the news anchor-keeping everyone informed with what was going on in the world and the meteorologist, preparing everyone for the weather during the week.  Randy was a hard worker.  He gave 100% to any task he was given, no matter how big or small.  He was the first to arrive and the last to leave, and he never complained.

He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Ryant and his grandmother, Ms. Nora Ryant, whom he loved very much.
