Paul E. Pearson

Paul E. Pearson age 67 of 410 Price St. Sanford, NC passed on Wednesday, September, 11, 2019 at his residence. 

Mr. Paul Edward Pearson Sr. the 5th sibling of the late Sammie Lee  Pearson, Sr. and Willie Margaret Pearson was born on August 12,1952.  He departed this life on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at his home in Sanford, NC.

Paul, was a 1970 graduate of Greenwood High School  and received his Associate Degree in Business from Sandhills Community College. He was a retiree from the Lee County School system. He was a dedicated  employee and served the system for 26 years.

On July 1, 1978, Paul married Alice Bethune of Sanford, NC. They began a union full of many blessings and much love. To this union two children were born, Paul Jr. and Jamie Lee.

Paul joined Wall Street Baptist. Church at an early age. After his marriage he began to attend Blandonia Presbyterian Church.

Paul put nothing before his family. As an adult he looked forward to spending time barbecuing, yard work and entertaining at his home. He    loved joking, telling stories (with much detail), watching a great movie, playing with his grandson and watching Pit Master with his wife on Saturday.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Elsie B. McLean.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Alice of 41 years; sons, Paul Jr. (Rachel) and Jamie; sisters; Margaret Trussell, Clarietta Lancaster of Sanford, NC, Christine Mitchell, of New York, Beverly Malone, of Columbia, SC.; brothers; Sammie Lee Pearson Jr. (Rose), Jacksonville, Florida, Sherwin Pearson (Amelia), of Harker Heights, Tx, Calvin McNeil, Sanford, NC, two aunts, one uncle, six sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, one grandson, Neamiah Paul Pearson; four special childhood friends, Larry Mickle, James Bethune, Dr. Aaron Cotton, and Vernon Siler; five special adopted sons, Raleigh Lundy, Jeff McNeill, Rashawn Sellers, Jaydyn and Brandon Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
