Mrs. Mildred Watson Brooks, age 80 of 33 Clarence Brooks Rd., Pittsboro, NC passed on Monday, September 3, 2018 at The Laurels of Chatham, Pittsboro, NC.
Mildred departed this life September 3, 2018. Being a member of Union Grove A.M.E Zion Church where she worked diligently sowing in many capacities.
She was married to the late Clarence Brooks September 5, 1955 and to this union two children were born, Susan Gail and Ronald Brooks. Her daughter Susan Gail preceded her in death.
Mildred could be seen and heard at many area functions, sharing her gift of song.
Mildred leaves to cherish her love and memories a son, Ronald (Rosalee) Brooks of Pittsboro, NC; one grandson, Kevin Tyson of Pittsboro, NC; a devoted son-in-law Richard (Pam) Pippins of Durham, NC; sister; Elizabeth (Edward) Reaves of Pittsboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and friends.
