Maggie Belle McCormick, age 87 of 14 South Indiancreek Place, Durham, NC passed on Wednesday, October, 9, 2019 at her residence.

Maggie Belle Battle McCormick was born April 28, 1932 in Lee County to Bertha Battle and Edgar Battle. On October, 9, 2019 she departed this earth to be home with Jesus, she was at home with her family.

Maggie was a loving wife,mother, sister and grandmother. Maggie attended Robin Chapel for many years until moving to Durham, NC

Maggie was preceded in death by Carl "Loney" McCormick, husband of 44 years, mother and father Bertha and Edgar Battle one sister, Hannah Battle Sellars

She leaves to mourn:, her son, Derrick McCormick (Mary), grandson, Douglas McCormick, a special niece, Victoria Sellars and children, Alex and Ashley and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
