Mabelle Thomas Obituary
Mrs. Maebelle Virginia Harris Thomas, age 96 of 5175 Moncure-Pittsboro Rd., passed on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Franklin Oaks Health and Rehab Center Louisburg, NC.
Maebelle was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Harris and was a member of Mt. View AME Zion Church where she served in many capacities.
She was married to Caley F. Thomas of Merry Oaks, N.C. They had two sons Curtis and Melvin. Curtis and his wife Rose are presently residing in Youngsville, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Caley in March of 1994 and her son, Melvin in March 2002.
Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Charlotte Regester of Chapel Hill, N.C.; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one step grandson, one godson, one sister-in-law, Alice Harris of Durham, N.C. and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mom, you will be missed tremendously.
