Lynne Whetstone Moore, age 62 of 70 Hearn Lane, Sanford, NC passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 20, 1956 to the late Lenna Hobbs and James Whetstone.

She worked in the HR Dept. UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC. She loved to cook, go to the beach and spend time with family and friends.

She loved her dogs, Kodha and Kopper and Shadow that preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby "Robbie" Moore; her sons, Cameron Wade, Joshua Moore, Jorden (Kim), and Jason (Nina) Moore all of Sanford, NC; eight grandchildren and special family friends, Michelle and Raegan Phillips.

Memorial Service will be held at the home, 70 Hearn Lane, Sanford, NC,

Sunday, January 19, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.

Visitation: Friday and Saturday at the home.
