Mr. Kenneth Griffin, age 60 of 1010 Honeysuckle Drive, Pittsboro, NC passed on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro, NC.
Kenneth Andrea Griffin entered this world on November 15, 1958 to the late Melvin Marsh and Ola Mae Griffin. He departed this world on July 14, 2019.
Kenneth graduated from Northwood High School in 1977, where he played offensive guard, and line backer for the Chargers. He stated that lunch was his favorite period and how gracious the lunch ladies were to him.
Kenneth worked in manufacturing as a forklift driver for many years. He started ministering at a young age in 1985. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Deliverance of Prospect, NC. He had a great sense of humor. He knew how to make you feel good about yourself. He loved his children and grandchildren with such passion. Caring for the elderly was also very dear to his heart. He always had time to hear their stories and be as helpful as he could.
At an early age he was diagnosed with Krohns disease. During many extended hospital stays he was able to minister to others. That's how you let your light shine. While your light is shining you need a fresh haircut, he was never late for an appointment and kept his brush in his pocket.
Kenneth liked to look good. He loved to make people smile. So on that note look to your left and to your right and give a smile for Kenneth.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Marsh; stepfather, Artis French; a brother, Tony Marsh, and a sister, Artisia French.
