One of her favorite quotes on family was "Family is like music, some high notes, some low notes but always a beautiful song." Everyone loved Joy or as we all called her, JoJo.

Joy was blessed with a gift of creativity which she turned into entrepreneurship. She birthed two businesses, one was Inside Out Beauty where the vision was to bring the beauty inside out of the individual and AC (Atmosphere Changer) Design.  She was also a representative for Mary Kay and Avon Company.  Her biggest motivator behind her businesses was her son, Ethan James Purvis.
