Jennifer Edwards

Ms. Jennifer Edwards, age 65 of 700 West Lakewood Ave., Durham, NC passed on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at UNC Hospice Center, Pittsboro, NC. 

Ms. Jennifer Edwards was born on May 29, 1952 to Carl B. Edwards II and Beatrice Hargraves Edwards in Chapel Hill, NC. She departed this life on December 3, 2017 at UNC Health Hospice in Pittsboro, NC.

Jennifer attended the Chapel Hill City Schools and graduated in 1970. She attended Croft Business College. She worked several administrative jobs before retiring from Orange County Social Services.

She was preceded in death by, her parents; two brothers, Carlee D. Edwards and Carl B. Edwards III and one niece, Andranita (Angie) Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Lee Thomas Harris, Jr. of Durham, NC; one granddaughter, Leah J. Harris of Chapel Hill, NC; two brothers, Michael J. Edwards (Lila) of Fayetteville, NC and Gaylan S. Edwards of Chapel Hill, NC; six sisters, Etta J. Edwards, Kimberly C. Albright, Keith M. Edwards, Jennette L. Farrington (Wade J.), (her loving and devoted twin), Pier M. Edwards and Cheryl D. Edwards all of Chapel Hill, NC; three special friends, Bruce Parker Jr., Cord Smith and Carolyn S. Jingles.
