Hazel Lee Wrenn, age 81 of 270 Farrell Rd. Sanford, North Carolina passed on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC.
Hazel Lee Martin Wrenn was born in Laurinburg, NC March 31, 1936 to the late Estelle Harris and Willis Martin.
Hazel was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of New Zion Baptist Church until she fell ill and could no longer attend. She retired from the nursing field in New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her adopted parents Floyd and Hattie Graham and one son-in-law, Roy Grier.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Estelle Grier, Anna Lee Douglas (Robert BoJack Singltary) Mary Alice McCoullum (Melvin McCoullum), Henry G. Simms, Wilma Simms; twelve grandkids; four great great grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews; a special niece Roberta Cissy Barrett; special nephew Wayne Barrett, Sylvester and Darrly Barrett and grand daughter Denise Grier.
