Donnie Levon Buie

Donnie Levon Buie, age 48 of 412 Hickory Ave., Sanford, NC passed on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. 

Mr. Donnie Levon Buie was born October 3, 1970 to Margaret Buie and the late John Harrison Buie, Jr.  He was born in Sanford, North Carolina where he resided most of his life.  He was called to his Heavenly Home on January 2, 2019.

Donnie was married to Tiffany Johnson, to which they had one son, Donnie Levon Buie, Jr. III.  Donnie was a member of The Potter’s House.

Donnie attended Lee Senior High School. He liked watching sports more than playing sports.  Donnie was a true Carolina fan.  Donnie was a hard worker and loved working outside.  He was employed with Raleigh Masons Company.  He loved cleaning yards, especially his mother’s.  He was a good friend to many and never met a stranger.  He loved his kids and loved his family. He loved life and enjoyed having fun.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Tiffany; two daughters, Kiandra Buie, of Virginia, NC and Kiona (Donovan) Dowdy, of Siler City, NC; three sons, Donnie Levon Buie, Jr. II of  Siler City, NC, Andre West of Winston Salem, NC, and Donnie Levon Buie, Jr. III of High Point, NC; his   mother, Margaret Buie of the home; two sisters, Ann Buie of the home and Patricia Sellers of Sanford, NC; three  brothers, his twin, Ronnie (Tonya) Buie of Sanford, NC, Kelby (Sharyn) Buie of Broadway, NC, and Rick (Sharon) Sellers of Sanford, NC; five uncles; six aunts; eight grandchildren, two special nieces, Charlene McLeod and Jazmyne Johnson, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
