Dina Lavonne Johnson

Dina Lavonne Johnson, age 52 of 1252 Hooker St., Sanford, NC passed on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at her residence. 

Dina was born May 28, 1967 and found peace on January 8, 2020.  She was sustained by her mother, Ruby Johnson Womack and her father, Larry Taylor and mom, Claudia.  As she made her transition from this world, she was surrounded  at home by her family and the people who long loved her.

She had a special love for children.  She enjoyed cooking.  She loved to travel.  She was a social butterfly.  She enjoyed talking and never met a stranger.

At an early age, Dina accepted Christ.  She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Word Ministries under leadership of Apostle Reginald White & Pastor Emma White, which she enjoyed while her health allowed.  She always trusted God and loved her church family.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Allison.  

Dina was a devoted mother to: Michael, Stanley, Jalik, Vanessa and Ayabami, all of Sanford; sisters: Dana Yvonne (her twin),  Carla and Tracy; brothers: Larry, Jr., Anthony, Shelton and Dodge; ten grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, Ruby Womack 628 San Lee Dr., Sanford, NC 27330
