Davion Orlando Newby age 18 of 816 North Vance Street, Sanford, NC passed on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Davion Orlando Newby was born at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC on March 27, 2001 to Vanesa Newby and left this life on August 10, 2019.

Davion was educated in Lee County schools in North Carolina. He was so happy to walk with his classmates at Lee Senior, he smiled all the way. He worked at Bear Creek Aresenal as a machine operator with his older brother, Rahki Newby.

Davion was a very energetic young man. He is described as a “big baby”; very funny and loved to smile. He was the life of the party and fun to be around. He loved to give hugs and would tell you he loved you. He was very outspoken about things he was passionate about. He loved hanging out with his big brother but loved fussing with his little brother-but it was all in love. He had dreams of making music, working and rapping with his big brother.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Vanesa Newby; two brothers, Rahki and Shamon Newby of the home; his grandparents, Steve & Vanesa Lee Newby of Sanford, NC; two aunts, Tarja Ortiz (Ramon) of Texas and Virginia, Jaala Newby of Sanford NC; two uncles, Stephen Newby (Myra) of Texas and SFC Omar Newby of Fort Bliss, Texas; two godparents, Quailla Hatcher of KY and Brenda Patterson. He also leaves a host of cousins and friends.
