David Anderson Jr.

David Anderson Jr., age 60 of 57 Wagon Trail, Sanford, NC passed on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence. 

Minister David Anderson Jr. was born on November 10, 1958 to the late David Sr. and Dorothy Anderson. David Anderson departed this life on Saturday, November 10, 2018 on his 60th birthday. David attended Julia Richmond High.

Minister David loved playing basketball and loved watching his favorite football teams: the New York Giants and the New York Jets. Minister David’s passion was his ministry. Minister David married the love of his life Almelia on June 7, 2015, that was the happiest day of his life. David gave his life to the Lord on October 10, 2015 at Free Spirit Holiness Church. Life was complete; he had everything he needed to go forth in his ministry: God 1st, his wife, and his family. David was a family man and a people person. He loved and wanted to help everyone he could with the love of God. His ministry was love, passion, long suffering, charity, and singing. He loved to smile and make people smile. He loved leadership in every House of God he entered. Minister David continued his ministry at Works For Christ Christian Center of Sanford, NC under the leadership of Drs. Lewis and Alice Hooker.

Minister David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Dorothy Anderson; his sister, Gail Kirkland and his brother, Moses Haynes.

Minister David leaves to mourn, his loving and devoted wife, Almelia Anderson; two daughters, Laura and Christine; three sons, Tyrone (Jacie), James, and Zacchacus; two sisters, Patricia Boles (Colon), and Esther Hines (Jerry); three brothers-in-law, Eli Easterling, Anthony Easterling and Hilton Easterling (Vicky); three sisters-in-law, Rosa Robinson, Alfreda Easterling, and Carolyn Love; his best friend from childhood, Artie Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
