Curtis Tyrell Bridges

Mr. Curtis Tyrell Bridges, age 31 of 1400 Goldsboro Ave., Sanford, North Carolina passed on Tuesday, October  23, 2018 at his residence.

Curtis Tyrell Bridges was born in Sanford, NC on July 28, 1987 to Curtis Bridges Jr. and the late Barbara Ann Mitchell Bridges. On Tuesday, October 23, 2018 God called him home for eternal rest.

Curtis graduated from Lee County Sr. High School in 2005. He was a loving father to his son, Ayden. He was also a fun loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend. At an early age, he established a love for the piano. He was a member of True Gospel United Church of God, where he started playing in church. He also played for other surrounding churches.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Mitchell Bridges; his brother, Kenneth Mitchell and his close friend, Chris Feaster.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Ayden Tyrell Bridges of Sanford, NC;  his loving father, Curtis Bridges Jr., four sisters, Anita Tabon (Kenneth), Brenda Lemon  and Shaunda Fox both of Sanford, NC; and Tamika Bridges of Kenly, NC; one sister-in-law, Shirley Mitchell of Lillington, NC; four aunts, Althea Bridges of Goldsboro, NC; Linda Richey (Brodus) of Clinton, MD, Robin McLeod and Linda Horton both of Sanford, NC; three uncles, Ricki Taylor (Pat) of Camp Springs, MD, Charles McLeod (Eugenia) of Raleigh, NC and Robert Reives (Ruth) of Sanford, NC; eighteen nieces and nephews, whom were more like his brothers and sisters; twenty seven great nieces and great nephews; a dear friend to his heart, Shaquita Shante McIver; a special nephew and caregiver in his time of need, Jonathan Bridges and a host of other relatives and friends.
