Cornelia Belle (Harris) Brice

Mrs. Cornelia Belle Brice, age 93 of 1115 Washington Ave., Sanford, North Carolina passed on Sunday, May 27th, 2018 at her residence.

Cornelia Brice of 1115 Washington Avenue fell asleep in death Sunday, May 27, 2018 surrounded by her children.

Our Mother was born June 05, 1924 to Jim and Mary Harris, in Lillington, NC.  She was married in 1944 to Tom Brice in Dillion, SC.

Sister Brice symbolized her dedication to Jehovah by water baptism on January 22, 2011.  She enjoyed studying the bible and sharing what she learned and believed with others.

Our Mother was loving, caring and firm.  She always thought about others before herself.  Before her health declined, she felt that everyone that came to visit needed a full meal.

Mother got a great deal of joy from gardening and playing the piano.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Brice; six sisters, Goldie Harris, Lillie Harris, Atha Harris, Addie Harris, Rosalee Harris, and Wylie Dokes; three brothers; Henry Harris, Warren Harris, and Plegg Harris.

Our Dear Mother leaves to cherish fond and loving memories:  four children; Thomas Brice of Smithfield NC; Faye Brice of Sanford, NC; Diane Prince (Walter) of Greensboro, NC; and Mary Wicker (Kenneth) of Sanford, NC; twelve grandchildren:  Tim, Shonda, Sally, Meka, Travis, Regina, E.J., Meshia, Maceo, Thomas Jr., Savannah, and Asia;  fourteen great grand children and one great-great grandchild.  A special friend, Madie Chance; a loving caregiver, Terrika Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
