Expressions of Sympathy™
Mr. Colester C. Watson, age 75 of 115 Alex Watson Rd., Siler City, NC passed on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at his residence.
On April 26, 2018 our beloved Colester Watson slipped into God’s arms after blessing us with his presence here on earth for 75 years. Colester was born in Chatham County on January 27, 1943 to the late George Watson and Averlee Alston Watson and lived in Chatham County all of his life.
He was previously married to Mexie Marsh Watson and they shared two children, Stanley Watson (Felicia) Holly Springs, NC, and Felicia Adams of Pittsboro, NC, with three grandchildren: Cayden, Tyler, and Rachel.
Colester was known for his strong work ethics and he certainly was a jack of all trades. Although he spent many of his early years working for Townsend Poultry Company, upon retirement he decided to follow his passion opening is own landscaping company. Over the years he was able to provide many people with employment working for his company while he was able to provide a wide variety of services to his well-established client pool. Colester always proved himself to be an honorable man, very dependable and fair. He took great pride in his work and truly loved the work he did. He was a fair and honest businessman and all of these qualities attributed to his overall success. Colester was known for and loved his work and as he slipped away to be with the Lord he was doing what he loved….working.
Colester was preceded in death by his parents; his stepson, Eugene Marsh and sister, Minnie Watson.
He is survived by his children: Stanley Watson (Felicia) Holly Springs, NC, and Felicia Adams of Pittsboro, NC; three grandchildren, Cayden, Tyler and Rachel; a sister, Ruby Williams (Ules) of Greensboro, NC; three brothers: Clyde Watson (Mary), George Watson Jr. (Gale), and James Watson all of Siler City, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
