Mr. Clinton L. Harris, age 36 of 924 Marks Road, Cameron, NC passed on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Mr. Clinton L. Harris was born June 3, 1982 in Charleston SC to Clinton Daniels and Geraldine Harris.

Clinton received his formal education from the Lee County School System. He also attended Central Carolina Community College where he majored in Automotive Systems Technology. Clinton was a hard worker and an entrepreneur. His dreams, ideas, and ambitions were innovative and grand. This entrepreneurship spirit led him to participate in several business ventures such as the co-owner of the DAB Lounge in Fayetteville, NC; wholesale retailer of household products; owner of Fat Babyz Kitchen and Restaurant; and part-time mechanic.

Clinton had a big spirit, loved many, and was loved by many. He was affectionately known as “Bear”. “Bear” was the baby of the family. And, everyone knew that “Bear” was the favorite. Although he was the baby of the family, he tried to tell his older siblings, Stacy and Tramaja what to do. And, when they tried to tell him differently, “Bear” already knew it all, done it all, and seen it all. Growing up, “Bear”: had a special relationship with his niece and nephew, Devon and Dashonna. Although he was their uncle, they were close in age and had more of a sister and brother relationship.

“Bear” tried to take care of everyone and everything. Everyone was  always glad to be in his presence and his smile illuminated any room.

“Bear” loved being a father. He loved his children and the mothers of his children. He was proud of the legacy that he was building. This legacy consists of nine children whom were his pride and joy. “Bear”/”Deno” was a loving and loyal father, son, brother, uncle and friend. This love and loyalty will truly be missed.

Clinton knew the Lord, and as a child, he faithfully attended the family home church Ebenezer Gospel Assembly with grandmother, Gladys Harris.

Clinton transitioned from his earthly home on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Clinton was preceded in death by his son, King Immanuel Harris; and his grandparents, Albert and Gladys Harris.

Left to cherish his memories and celebrate his life are his children whom he adored: Lilianah S. Harris, Amir R. Hall, Asa B. Harris, Asahleem L. Harris, Nayomee J. Yarn-Harris, Kyngslee I. Harris, Julian J. Jones,  Ayden E. Harris, and Maleek L. Harris all of the home; his mother, Geraldine Harris of Cameron, NC; his father, Clinton Daniels of Charleston, SC; his siblings and special loved ones: Stacy Slade Sr. of Brooklyn, NY, Tramaja Slade-Brower (Rev. T.L. Brower) of Greensboro, NC, Tausha Davis (Preston) of Charlotte, NC, Nakeita Jones, Wednesday Johnson, Michael Johnson, Aaliyah Evans all of  Sanford, NC; and two loyal, lifelong friends Kraft and Von both of Sanford, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
