Mr. Barnard Lee Shaw was born on September 30, 1963 in Lee County to the late George Woodard and the late Annie Mae Shaw. He departed this life on August 31, 2018.

Barnard “Shaw” was a die-hard Carolina fan. He worked as a brick mason for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Joyce Allen, Vanessa Williams and Karen Shaw.

“Shaw” leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Wanda Shaw; his children, Lakeith Bellamy, Sametra Washington, and  Dedra ; one stepson, Willard Johnson; six grandchildren; ten nieces; twenty two great nieces and nephews, twelve great great nieces and nephews; his mother-in-love, Ms. Grace Taylor; three brother-in-law; one sister-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
