Annie Dylinda Brooks, age 47 of 388 St. Andrews Ch. Rd., Sanford, NC passed on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Annie Dylinda Worthy Brooks "Lynn", age 47, was born on July 28, 1971 to the late Theodore and Leola Worthy.

Lynn passed away on January 20, 2019 following her battle with lung cancer in Fayetteville, North Carolina at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Lynn was a devoted mother and grandmother who truly loved her family and friends. Her personality could light up the room the moment she entered. She had a gift in bringing joy to others through jokes and laughs. Her motto, "too strong to be weak" were words that she lived by even in her last days.

Lynn was preceded in death by her first born son, Tyrice Antwan Worthy and her father, Holton Theodore Worthy.

Lynn leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Leola Marie Worthy; her husband, Ernest Lee Brooks; her daughters, Shylinda Worthy, Shaquetta Brooks (Jo), Anniqua Brooks; four sons, Demetrius Brooks (Lisa), Javernest Brooks, Deshaun Brooks and Demarcus Brooks; six grandchildren: Aria, Jaquail, Akeelah, Kameron, Deja and Karter; seven siblings, Theodore Roger Worthy Jr., Timothy Worthy, Frederick Worthy (Tracy), Paul Worthy (Susan), Tommy Lee Worthy, Mary Worthy, Elmarie Worthy and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
