Mr. Robby Steven DeGraffenreidt, age 54, of Graham, NC, entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at his residence.
The Obituary
Robby Steven DeGraffenreidt, 54, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born December 9th, 1969, Robby was the youngest of four children born to the late “JD” and Joanne DeGraffenreidt of Pittsboro, NC.
Robby graduated from Northwood High School where he played varsity baseball for four years and was inducted into Northwood’s Hall of Fame in September 2022. With interests in motorcycles, Robby received his Diploma in Motorcycle Mechanics from Central Carolina Community College, in 2010 during which time he worked at Cox’s Harley-Davidson of Asheboro as a motorcycle mechanic. He was currently employed with Ajinomoto of Raleigh, NC as a Process Technician III and part-time at Cox’s Harley-Davidson of Asheboro as a motorcycle mechanic.
Robby married Jessica Oxendine in Pittsboro, NC in August 2021. They were blessed with four loving daughters.
Known for his sense of humor and outgoing personality, during his free time Robby enjoyed playing recreational softball, working on motorcycles, and spending time with his friends and family. He also enjoyed being outside.
Robby was preceded in death by his parents, “JD” and Joanne DeGraffenreidt, and brother Javon DeGraffenreidt. Robby leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Jessica Oxendine of Graham, NC; four daughters: Kyonti DeGraffenreidt of Whitsett, NC; Destinee’ DeGraffenreidt of Sanford, NC; Destinee’ Sumpter and Shanya DeGraffenreidt of the home; one grandson, Jordan Wallace; two brothers, Gary DeGraffenreidt of Killeen Texas; Michael DeGraffenreidt of Newport, NC; brother-in-law, Aaron Jernigan (Brittney) of Chapel Hill, NC; special mother-in-law, Maybelline Hammonds, Moncure, NC; special nephew Gary “Gee” DeGraffenreidt, II (Caitlin) of Virgina Beach, VA, as well as a host of family, friends and chosen brothers.
