Prentice Orlando Goldston, age 28 of 215 Highwoods Drive, Sanford, NC passed on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford.

Mr. Prentice Orlando Goldston was born June 16, 1989 to Tabitha Atkins and Rodney Goldston. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Prentice received his education in the Chatham County Schools System and was later employed at Magneti Marelli in Sanford, NC. He was a preacher steward at Elizabeth Chapel Church in Dunn, NC.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Roderick Santonio Goldston; his grandfather, Jeffrie Atkins, Sr. and grandmother, Annie Alston.

His memories will be cherished by his mother, Tabitha Atkins of Sanford, NC; his father, Rodney Goldston of Sanford, NC; maternal grandmother, Eunice Allen of Pittsboro, NC; maternal aunt / godparents, Jennifer Atkins Johnson (LaScottie Sr.) and maternal uncle, Jeffrie Atkins, Jr. (Ursula); paternal aunts, Amanda Albright, Sarah Strayhorne, Linda Staton, Betty Staton, Jesse Staton, Sheila Monk, Vernicia McKoy, Patricia Minter, Sandra Griffen and Clarissa Dowdy; paternal uncles, James Staton, Walter, Roy Earl Goldston, and Steve Goldston. He will also be loved and remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends. 

The family will receive friends at 55 Roxbury Court, Sanford, NC.
