Phyllis Elaine (Heck) Scurlock

Phyllis Elaine Heck Scurlock,  age 67, of 3002 Paradise Way, Sanford, NC  passed on Wednesday, August 23, 2017.

Phyllis was born on January 27, 1950 to the late Lena Mae McLeod Heck and the late Gurley Hugh Heck, Sr.  Phyllis’ memory will forever be treasured by her three children, Emmette Heck (Stacy) of Sanford, Kayren Heck of Sanford and Eric Heck (Mary) of California. 

Phyllis was preceded in death by her siblings, Jacqueline Speed, Fannie Jean Vaughn, Margaret Arlene Flack, Gurley Hugh Heck, Jr, Larry Heck, Roderick Heck and Robert McLeod Heck.

Phyllis also leaves to cherish her sister, Roberta Heck Davis (Raynard), a special daughter Tamika Smith (Chris) and a special niece Audrey Hancock (Armundo).  Phyllis also leaves to cherish her grand-children, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
