Patricia Ann (Norris) Terry

Patricia Ann Terry, age 53 of 410 Birch Street, Sanford, NC passed on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford. 

Mrs. Patricia Ann Norris Terry was born October 6, 1964 to Mr. Charles Norris and the late Jessie Pearl Norris in Sanford, North Carolina. Patricia transitioned from this life into eternal life on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Central Carolina Hospital Sanford, North Carolina.

Patricia received her education through the Lee County School System where she graduated in 1982 with her high school diploma.

Patricia, affectionately known as “Pat” was an outgoing person. She was full of life with a huge heart for and toward people. Her family was her life, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving person who was always there for anyone that needed her, even if it was just for a laugh to lift their day or just a shoulder to lean on. Her arms were always opened to give a meaningful hug alone with the words of comfort of “I Love You”. She always knew what to say to put a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. Patricia was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was the kind of person that never encountered a stranger. To know her was to love and appreciate her for the person she was and had become.

In her years of employment, she was a loving caregiver at the Convalescent Nursing Home in Sanford, North Carolina and in later years, worked for numerous other companies. She was a dedicated employee till her health began to decline.

Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Terry of the home; two sons: Teonj Adams and Christopher Terry; two daughters, Tiffinay Morgan (Anthony) and Jamillah Terry all of Sanford, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Sincere, Kendrick, Kendra, Charlie and Khailey Terry, Teonna and Kyra Adams all of Sanford, North Carolina; grandmother, Nellie Adams of Carthage, North Carolina;  brothers, Mark Norris (Dawn) of Houston, Texas, Charles Adams and Brandon Norris of Sanford, North Carolina, Pete and Chad Norris of Carthage, North Carolina; two sisters, Charee Stanley and Deborah Sloan of Carthage, North Carolina; four aunts, Irene Ray, Luvenia Jackson, and Peggy Norris of Carthage, North Carolina; two uncles, Charles Adams of Sanford, North Carolina, and Henry Norris of Carthage, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Merdie McFadden; sister-in-law, Latasha McIver (Derrick) and brother-in-law, Lavern Quick and a host of other loving family member and friends.
