Mr. Milner V. Cox, age 83 of 1705 W. Meadowview Rd., Greensboro, NC passed on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC.
Milner spent his last waken days in Greensboro, North Carolina from October 1990 to February 6, 2018.
On February 6, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital the Giver of Life claimed His loved one unto Himself.
As a child, Milner attended Jonesboro Presbyterian Church in Sanford, North Carolina and attended Jonesboro Public School. He was loved and known by his community as a child that was very respectful, kind and caring. Milner experienced mental illness from childhood through his adult life. He always understood where his help came from as he recited the Lord’s Prayer daily.
Milner was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Roy Cox; his sister, Etellka McKay and brother-in-law, Thomas McKay.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Deborah Dale McKay, Thomas Wayne McKay (Cynthia), Evelyn Gloria Carson, Addie Laverne Henson (Richard), Wendy Womack (Jerry) Jino Cox, Dino Cox, Tonya Cox, Andre Cox; sister-in-law, Cleo McIver and a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins in Sanford, NC.
