Revelation 21:4 says: "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". My condolences go out to the family. As you prepare to lay your loved one to rest, to sleep in death for just a little while (John 11 : 11) I hope your family will find solace in the promise of Jesus to awaken those who are now sleeping in death. God has promised that the dead who are in his memory will be resurrected to life in a righteous new world. ( Psalm 37:29 )
