Kerry Lynn McKoy, age 50 of 3027 Wine Tree Way, Sanford, NC passed on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC.

Mr. Kerry Lynn McKoy was born on November 21, 1966 in Lee County, North Carolina. He received his formal education through the Harnett County Public School System.

Kerry accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of Try Jesus Ministry in Sanford, North Carolina. He was a graduate of Sanford Lee School of Barbering in Sanford, North Carolina.

Kerry departed this life on Friday, August 18, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward McKoy. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Catherine Scott-McKoy of the home, his mother, Florence Belk of Aberdeen, NC; one son, Jordan McKoy of Sanford, NC; two stepsons, Andairius Cousar of Fayetteville, NC, Marcus Scott of Odessa, Texas; two brothers, Daniel (Tiffany) McKoy of Hendersonville, NC, Kevin Copelin of Hendersonville, NC; five brothers-in-law, Thomas Pittman of Trenton, NJ, Ronald (Debbie) German of Dillon, South Carolina, James (Jacqueline) Sellars of Dillon, SC, Jim (Estelle) Bethea of Dillon, SC, James (Chevelle) German, of Dillon, SC; five sisters-in-law, Barbara Pugh of Latta, SC, Annie (Kenneth) Smith of Dillon, SC, Bernice (Charles) Williams of Burlington, New Jersey, Andrena (James) Adkins of Afghanistan, Alanda LeGrand; four grandchildren, five uncles, three aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
