Drucilla Ellen Farmer

Drucilla Ellen Farmer, age 71 of 82 Revolutionary Road, Cameron, NC passed on Monday, October 30, 2017 at her residence.

Drucilla Farmer was born in Harlem New York on August 25, 1946 to the late Lawrence and Freda Farmer. On Monday, October 30, 2017 the Lord quietly called Ms. Drucilla Ellen Farmer home to rest.

She was the oldest of eight children. Drucilla attended West Catholic High School for girls in Philadelphia, PA.

For 23 years she worked as a unit secretary at Germantown Hospital. Drucilla met and married the late Clyde Jones in Philadelphia, PA.

Ms. Farmer was known for shopping. She frequently visited thrift stores and loved auctions. Her greatest passion was spoiling her grand and great grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Stanley Jones (Leona) of Atlanta, Ga., Tawanda Jones of Atlanta GA, Melvin McClure Jr. (Andrea) of Philadelphia Pa, Melveeta  McClure (James) of Cameron, NC and Marc McClure (Ashley) of Clayton, NC; her grandchildren, Arthur Brown (Latika) of Sanford, NC, Charell McClure of Philadelphia, PA, Shakeya McClure Washington of Philadelphia, PA, Germel McClure of Philadelphia, PA, Marcus Bowser, Montrell Bowser (Janautica) Melanie Bowser and Montavious Bowser all of Cameron, NC, Makayla McClure , Makenna McClure and Madysin McClure all of Clayton, NC, four special grandsons: Maurice Johnson (Tasha) of Hope Mills, NC, Brian Dennis (Renee) of Sanford, NC, Joseph Stewart of Spring Lake, NC, Rosevelt Brunson of Johnsonville, NC; great grandchildren, Damarcus Stackhouse of Cameron, NC, Jalyn Brown of Sanford, NC, the late Julian Brown, Jordan Brown and Justin Brown both of Sanford, NC; four sisters: Fredrina Parker of Philadelphia Pa., Linda Farmer, Charlotte Farmer and Roslyn Williams all of Philadelphia Pa.; three brothers, Lawrence Farmer (Barbara) of New Jersey, Marvin Farmer of Philadelphia and Andre Farmer (Dawn) of Sanford, NC; one special sister Clarietha Gains of Summerville, SC and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
