May you find comfort and strength in knowing that God loves you and he cares for you, through talking to God in prayer, and from God's Word, the Bible. Psalm 36:7 says; "How precious your loyal love is, O God! In the shadow of your wings, the sons of men take refuge". Psalm 62:8 "Pour out your hearts before him. God is a refuge for us". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 46:1; 1 Peter 5:7) jw.org

I was so very sorry to learn of David's passing. Gone much too soon. I remember him fondly from our years together at CHHS. What a beautiful legacy he has left for the world -- children and grandchildren to carry forward his kindness.

We knew David Sharp as "Coach Sharp," since most of our interactions were on football fields or basketball courts. We will remember Coach Sharp as man with a big heart who gave generously of his time to the sports he loved--and to the boys he coached and taught. Two of our sons played on the Chapel Hill Kings, and we are grateful for the opportunities provided by Coach Sharp. He will be greatly missed but his impact on the community--family, friends, co-workers, players--is a just and lasting legacy.

I am sending my condolences to the family. When someone we love dies its very painful. But the Bible talks about God doing away with pain at Rev 21:4. May the God of comfort provide solace to your family at this time.

Dear Sharp Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Times like this can be very difficult to deal with. At times, you may feel like there is no one to turn to. You may even feel like no one understands your pain. But there is one person we can turn to that can help us through all of our trials. Yes, God can help you during this difficult time. Pray to him constantly and he will help you. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 Isa. 26:19)
