Brenda Faye McIver

Brenda Faye McIver, age 61 of 412 Pearson Circle, Sanford, NC passed on Friday, December 29, 2017 at her residence. 

Brenda McIver, daughter of the late Tommy Phillips and the late Mary McIver was born October 25, 1956 in Lee County. She was called to her heavenly home on December 29, 2017.

She graduated from Lee County Senior High School. She was a member of St. Mark UCOG, where she served on the missionary board. She was a faithful member until her health began to decline.

She was a loving person that had a very caring heart. She went above and beyond to help people. She never met a stranger. She had a heart of gold, always had encouraging words to cheer you up or just to make you smile. She was a fighter, our sunshine and the rock and strength of our family.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy Phillips; Mary McIver and her brother, Carl Wayne McIver.

On departing this life, left to cherish her memories: two daughters, Penny McIver, Bridget Quick (Stephen); two sons, Kevin Quick (Carlotta) and Timothy Quick; one brother, Dennis McIver (Eunice); half brother, John Dunbar; seven grandchildren, Tilea, DaNija, JaMarcus, Nehemiah, Josiah, JaKaveon, LaNiya; one great grandson, Amir; two nephews, Dennis Jr., and Anson; one special niece, LaTasha; one aunt, Ruthie Sanders; two uncles: Jimmie and William; three great nieces, Shakiyah, Kaliyah and Kamine; one great nephew, Dennis III; a special friend, Jimmie Lawrence of Sanford, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
